■Overview of the “Gundam Manhole” Project
The “Gundam Manhole” project is an initiative to install “Gundam Manholes,” maintenance hole covers with designs of characters and mobile suits from the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, in various locations throughout Japan. By cooperating with local governments, we hope to revitalize the country and prove the bond between Gundam fans of all generations and Gundam. As the first step of the project, we donated two types of maintenance holes to Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, the birthplace of Mr. Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of Gundam, as the first step of the project after the development in Inagi City, Tokyo, and Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture.

We are also looking forward to receiving applications and inquiries from people in charge at local governments (municipalities and other government offices) who would like to consider setting up the second and subsequent rounds following the first round.
