TV animation “AKEBI’s sailor uniform” key visuals #2 released, special program just before the broadcast and advance screening event to be held.

The second key visual for “AKEBI’s sailor uniform”, a TV anime produced by CloverWorks that will start airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from January 8 (Sat), 2022, has been released.

It was also announced that there will be a live broadcast of the special program just before the broadcast on YouTube and other sites on December 18 (Sat), and that there will be advance screening events at venues in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka on December 25 (Sat) and 26 (Sun).

AKEBI’s sailor uniform” is an anime adaptation of a manga by Hiroshi that is serialized every other month on the web comic site “Tonari no Young Jump”.

The second key visual was drawn by Daishi Kawakami, the sub-character designer and chief animation director. It depicts the main character, Komichi Akebi (CV: Manatsu Murakami), who has entered the private wax plum school, meeting his “first” classmate, Erika Kisaki (CV: Ten Amamiya). The scene depicts the two exchanging words by the window of the classroom with the bright morning light.

AKEBI’s sailor uniform” official YouTube channel will be broadcasting a special program “AKEBI-chan’s Live” on Saturday, December 18. Manatsu Murakami, who plays the role of Tomorrow Koji, Ten Amamiya, who plays the role of his classmate Erika Kizaki, and Shion Wakayama, who plays the role of Tomono Furushiro, are scheduled to appear on the show. The MC for the show will be New Currents, and special guests are also scheduled to appear.

|Advance screening events will be held at venues in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka on December 25 (Sat.) and 26.

At the advance screening event “AKEBI-chan’s Advance Screening”, in addition to the full-length screening of episodes 1 and 2, there will be a talk show with the cast. At the Tokyo venue, Manatsu Murakami and Ten Amamiya will take the stage, and Chiaki Matsuzawa will act as MC.

Applications for participation are now being accepted on the special page of the official website of the TV anime “AKEBI’s sailor uniform”. The deadline for applications is Monday, December 13, 2021, 12:00 noon. This is a free event, so be sure to apply.
