ISEKAI Suicide Squad Begins in July and Info Unveiled

The latest information on the new original anime “ISEKAI Suicide Squad” has arrived! This includes the release of the main promotional video (PV), key visual, ending theme details, and broadcasting schedule.

The anime “ISEKAI Suicide Squad,” produced by Warner Bros. Japan, is based on the popular DC Comics IP “Suicide Squad.” The series is being produced as a completely new original animation from Japan, with Warner Bros. Japan behind notable works like the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” anime series.

The story features well-known villains like Harley Quinn, Joker, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark causing chaos in a different world. The newly revealed key visual showcases familiar Suicide Squad members such as Rick Flag, Katana, and Amanda Waller, along with the introduction of the original character Princess Fione.

Furthermore, the PV introduces additional original characters, including Queen Aldra and Knight Commander Seris.

The ending theme, titled “Go-Getters,” will be performed by popular VTuber artist Mori Calliope, known for her popularity not only in Japan but also worldwide. Mori Calliope expresses her excitement about contributing to the anime’s soundtrack, stating that providing music for an anime has been a dream of hers since her debut.

Additionally, it has been announced that a stage event titled “TV Anime ‘ISEKAI Suicide Squad’ Villains ISEKAI Huge ‘Riot’ Party” will take place at AnimeJapan2024. The event, scheduled to be held on March 23 (Saturday) at 9:15 AM on the RED STAGE, will feature appearances by the main cast, including Anna Nagase, Yuichiro Umehara, Reigo Yamaguchi, Jun Fukuyama, Takuya Yashiro, Kujira, and Reina Ueda, as well as Mori Calliope. The event will also be streamed online.

“ISEKAI Suicide Squad” is set to premiere on TOKYO MX and BS11 starting in July 2024. Fans eagerly anticipate Harley and her cohorts’ exploits in this refreshing “ISEKAI” setting, promising to sweep away the summer heat!

[Synopsis]
In the criminal city of Gotham, A.R.G.U.S. Director Amanda Waller summons Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark for a mission.
