The TV anime “VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream” is set to premiere on July 7th. Along with this announcement, additional cast members and the second promotional video (PV) have been revealed.
The newly announced cast includes three characters from the fourth generation of Live On. Azusa Tadokoro will voice Yuu Sōma, a college student and idol group member who is devoted to Awane Kokone. M.A.O will play Aira Son, an elf lady and the director of the Aira Zoo. Ai Kayano will voice Kan Yamaya, who appears to be a mature woman with a mysterious aura but has the heart of a baby.
The second PV features Ayane Sakura as the protagonist Awane Kokone, showcasing her transformation into “Shuwa-chan” when she drinks “Gachizero.” Additionally, the PV highlights the dynamic performances of the 11 VTubers from Live On. The opening theme “Virtual Showtime!” sung by Awane Kokone and Shuwa-chan, along with the in-show song “Live Start,” are also introduced in the video.
“VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream” follows the story of VTuber Awane Kokone, whose true personality is revealed after she forgets to end her stream. It has been announced that the series will have an early streaming release on dAnime Store before airing on terrestrial television.
