Everyone has a side of themselves they don’t show to anyone.
In an era when nations around the world were engaged in a fierce underground information war, Ostania in the East and Westalis in the West had been in a cold war for over a decade.
Twilight, a top spy belonging to Westalis’s Intelligence Agency, Division for East Affairs (WISE), is assigned a top-secret mission to investigate the movements of Donovan Desmond, the chairman of the National Unity Party of Ostania, who poses a threat to the peace between East and West.
The mission is named Operation Strix.
The objective: “Create a family within a week and infiltrate the prestigious school where Desmond’s son is enrolled.”
Twilight assumes the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger and sets out to form a family. However, the daughter he encounters, Anya, is a telepath who can read minds, and his wife, Yor, is an assassin! With their interests aligned, the three agree to live together while concealing their true identities from each other.
The fate of world peace rests on this makeshift family, plagued by constant unexpected events.
