Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy manga by Gege Akutami. Curses. The power born from human negative emotions such as hardship, regret, and shame leads people to death. When the seal of a powerful cursed object is broken, high school student Yuji Itadori steps into the world of battles revolving around curses. Since its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018, it has garnered attention, and the TV anime series and animated feature films have also been a huge hit. The series has surpassed 90 million copies in circulation, including digital versions. Gege Akutami’s fast-paced narrative, which skillfully sways between despair and hope, captivates readers and doesn’t let go.

The “Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition” is a large-scale exhibition that unravels the “secrets of creation” of the series. Using digital methods, the creative process of Jujutsu Kaisen is fully unveiled with commentary from Gege Akutami. Fans can look forward to precious drafts and rough sketches displayed in their unfinished forms, revealing how the story, characters, and illustrations were conceived, evolved, and brought to new heights.

The newly announced luxurious audio guide will be navigated by Junya Enoki, who voices Yuji Itadori, and Junichi Suwabe, who voices Ryomen Sukuna. Regarding the audio guide, Enoki commented, “I read carefully to ensure that the content is easily conveyed to everyone listening.” Suwabe, expressing his high expectations for the vast and valuable materials, said, “I think it’s a must-see,” adding, “I was also involved in helping you explore the depths of Jujutsu Kaisen. I hope you enjoy it.”

Additionally, the release of an official catalog boasting a massive 192 pages has been decided. This catalog not only includes completed manuscripts but also numerous unpublished drafts and sketches that will be displayed at the venue. It promises to be a book packed with an overwhelming amount of information disclosed at the exhibition. The official catalog will be available at the official shop within the venue.

Furthermore, there will be a collaboration project with Shibuya Hikarie, the venue of the exhibition, titled “Hikarie Incident.” From Saturday, July 6, to Tuesday, August 27, photo spots will appear in various places within Shibuya Hikarie. Moreover, from Saturday, August 1, to Tuesday, August 27, 21 restaurants within the facility will hold a support fair for the exhibition. For each order of a collaboration menu item, a novelty sticker will be given as a present. Tickets are sold based on a specific date and time. When purchasing tickets, you must specify the entry date and time slot. The sales period is divided into three phases: “Premier Pre-Sale” (ended), “First Half” (ended), and “Second Half”. For dates expected to have high demand, advance lottery sales will be conducted.
