Kaiju No. 8 Anime Game: Trailer and Key Visual Released

The TV anime ‘Kaiju No. 8’, based on the original work by Naoya Matsumoto, is set to be adapted into a game for smartphones and PCs. Akatsuki Games will handle the planning, production, development, and management of this project, which will also involve Toho and Production I.G, who are working on the anime, making it a collaborative project.

Alongside the announcement of the game adaptation, the first trailer and key visual for ‘Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME (tentative title)’ were released. The first trailer showcases intense battles between Kaiju No. 8 and the Defense Force’s Third Division amidst a city devastated by a kaiju attack. The key visual features the tagline “Break through. A blow from the kaiju dimension,” depicting Kaiju No. 8 facing off against a gigantic kaiju, ready to strike with his “super kaiju-level” fist. Additionally, the teaser website, official X (Twitter), official YouTube channel, and a special recruitment site for game developers for ‘Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME (tentative title)’ were also launched simultaneously.
