Celebrating 70 Years of Godzilla

In 2024, Godzilla marks its 70th anniversary.
Since the release of the first film in 1954, Godzilla has taken on countless forms, evolving with the times and continuously redefining itself.

To commemorate this milestone, the “Godzilla 70th Anniversary: Godzilla THE Art Exhibition” will be held from April 26 (Sat) to June 29 (Sun), 2025, at the Mori Arts Center Gallery (Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, 52nd Floor).

This exhibition brings together renowned artists from Japan and around the world, each presenting brand-new works inspired by Godzilla, exploring its themes and significance through the lens of contemporary art.

Announcing the Participating Artists

The first wave of participating artists has been announced:

Additionally, the exhibition will feature curator Jin Choo.
